Today is November 12, 2009 and there are only 21 days until Olivia will be TWO years old. When I think about that it almost overwhelms me in that I am fortunate enough to share everyday at home with her but I wonder if I get enough quality time in between having to do everyday chores so that our house is clean, make dinner, laundry, etc. I just wish both Bob and I could spend all our time with her enjoying every minute sharing laughs and watching our little girl grow as it is happening so quickly. Faster than I would like. It still feels like it was yesterday that she was born and now she is almost two.

Recently we took her out of school (Richmond Hill Montessori Preschool Ms. Ro's class) as every week she was coming home with a new bug and would end up missing one day of school each week and then would spend the weekend trying to get over it so we finally decided after many visits to the pediatrician that it was time to take a break and allow Olivia to heal properly from the removal of her adnoids (She had surgery on Oct 15th to have her second set of tubes put in and removal of her adnoids) and to let all this seasonal and swine flu craziness settle down before re-enrolling her in school two days a week. For now she is home with her mummy and we are having a great time playing and about to embark on potty training again soon. I think she is finally ready again now that she tells us everytime when she has gone. She had great success the first time we attempted it until she went off it which they say it very common and at that time she was not able to tell me she had to go. Keep your fingers crossed that it works out as it would be lovely to get through potty training as quickly as possible! :) This is going to be the new way I chronicle events in Olivia's life so that I can capture moments, events and special times to share with her when she grows up. I had a diary that I wrote in the before she was born and for the first year and a half after but find that I do not go to that as often and my thoughts are that I would probably go online more often than anywhere else. Olivia, I hope I do not let you down as I want you to have every memory that we share and please know that mummy and daddy love you so very much. There will be more to come so stay tuned.....Love, Mummy
